I put off listening to that Ariana Grande chick for a long time.but.my God, she stole Mariah Carey's ENTIRE vocal sound from A to Z. I just listened to the preview on iTunes. Literally, she's capable of sounding exactly like her down to all the idiosyncratic ornamentations that Mariah (used to) throw in there. I never heard those Tamar rumors. All I know is she said she was in an abusive relationship prior to meeting Vince. The one thing I will say is contrary to whatever she says, she's clearly a gold digger. Yes, she is a talented singer and made some money doing backup for other people, but obviously she targeted Vince for his wealth and status in the music industry. He's not an ugly guy but no hot girl would ever fuck or date him if he wasn't a high-up music manager. Tamar's plans paid off and now she her album will debut at #2 tomorrow.
